By Henry Uwalaka

The All Progressive Congress APC Candidate for Ohuhu state constituency of the 2019 Abia State House of Assembly election, Hon. Obilo Ogbonna says his vision is

to create an enabling environment for self reliance among Ohuhu people.

Obilo disclosed this in a chat with newsmen in Umuahia, at his residence.

He said his mission would be to create the enabling environment where people can create wealth for themselves without necessarily depending on anyone or government, adding that the situation the people find themselves in Abia state today is a system of leadership without vision.

Obilo Ogbonna, an indigene of Umuawa-Alaocha in Nkwoachara ward Ohuhu Umuahia North, Abia State attended Methodist College Uzuakoli and Federal University of Agriculture Abuokuta where he obtained his S.S.C.E and Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management and Toxicology respectively.

Nkwoachara ward which is one of the five wards that made up of Ohuhu state constituency is said to have not produce the House of Assembly seat or hold any other political position in Ohuhu state constituency.

As a young successful Business man, Obilo believe that there is need for a valuable framework for the development of Ohuhu land and improve the wellbeing of the people which according to him, has come out with 10 years roadmap development plan for sustainable development in Ohuhu land.

According to him as a person, he has given scholarship to students, and created a multipurpose micro-finance scheme for women in his community to aid small businesses, adding that as a house member he would expand on the programmme which already is one of his cardinal point agenda.

He said looking at the poor governance of Peoples Democratic Party PDP, and their high rate of corruption record, All Progressive Congress APC is the right party to achieve his vision for his people.

He therefore called on Ohuhu people to vote for APC at the forthcoming election, and promised that Ohuhu huru Uzo will surely see again (Ohuhu gi ihu uzo ozo).
