DIRECT TOUCH INITIATIVE PROVIDING AND RETICULATING PIPE BORN WATER AROUND WARDS AND SCHOOLS IN UMUAHIA

The Beauty of Democracy and Electing Credible leaders lies in the ability of the elected to deliver dividends of democracy to the people so as to improve their standard of living.

For instance, if the people can have access to basic amenities such as Water, Electricity, and good road, the cost of living will be less on the people, and cost of running generator and buying of water by Households each day will be channeled into other things and life will be made easier and more meaningful.

One of the cardinal thrusts of the Direct Touch Initiative led by Hon. Chinedum Orji, The Leader of Abia State House of Assembly, and member representing Umuahia Central State Constituency is not just the provision of water in our public institutions and various wards, but also the reticulation of the water so that constituents, irrespective of party leaning, who live around these areas will benefit directly from the projects.

That is why the water projects built and delivered under the Direct  touch initiative are built to last with a holding capacity that will guarantee that the target is met.

At Methodist Girls Secondary school, known as Junior Girls, Hon. Chief Chinedum Orji has achieved the dual aim of putting smiles on the faces of not just the students, management and staff of the school, but the inhabitants of the area, who beam with smiles at this noble innovation.

The beautiful smiles on the faces of these ones and their prayers is fulfillment to Ikuku Abia and the only reward he seeks
