THE EDUCATOR - January 26

The Methodist Arch-Bishop of Umuahia Archdiocese, Most Rev Dr. Chibuzo Raphael Opoko said for one to avoid total failure in life is to allow God to speak to him/her and also act on the  word of God.

Arch-Bishop Opoko revealed this during a handover of Two Flats of (Three) Bedroom each donated to the Arch-Bishop Chibuzo Raphael Opoko by Ikechukwu Martins Apugo, President Diamond Football Academy DFA at Diamond Housing Estate Umuobia, Umuahia Abia State.

Arch-Bishop Opoko in his speech gave the testimony on how he received a miracle within 48hrs after he obeyed the word of God.

According to the Arch-Bishop, during their covenant service last Sunday when the guest preacher announced that there were two people in the service God is about to bless, and those people required to sow a seed of half a million(500,000), he looked at himself, and despite facing serious financial challenges, decided to make a bold step of faith to sacrifice N500,000 given to him by friends for assistance on his mother burial, even though the Guest preacher wanted to prevent him from coming out. The following day being Monday he got a call from Ikechukwu Martins Apugo he said telling him that God asked him to give  me a house, and he should prepare for the handover.

"I was asking myself is this a dream or reality, until I got a call from the person he told to show me the house. After seeing the place, it was them I shared my testimony to the person that showed me the house on what just happened on Sunday".

"This is not a matter of politics, I think this is God is action. If you don't allow God to speak to you, you are a total failure, and if God spoke to you, and you did not act on the word of God, it is a failure too. But for the fact that God speaks to you and you act, God honours his word. Just within 48hrs, the result manifested.

"Ikechukwu Apugo was not in the church, he never knew, I never had any discussion of such type with him, but God works through him", Arch-bishop Opoko said.
In his speech, Ikechukwu Martins Apugo said he was surprised to hear the testimony, adding that he just woke up in the morning and had the burden of making the

donation to Arch-bishop Chibuzo Raphael Opoko, and immediately called to inform him on what God laid in his heart to do.

Arch-bishop Opoko had also donated the part of the building which worth over fifteen million naira (N15, 000,000) to the Church.

The Arch-Bishop, Reverends, and Elders of the Church in attendance at the handover prayed God to honour Ikechukwu Apugo as he obeyed the word of God
