Race for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency: Ikechukwu Apugo continue to receive more Support

The people of Amuzukwu Ibeku in Umuahia North and Umuekwule Umuokpara in Umuahia South have described the All Progressive Congress APC standard bearer for federal House of Representative, Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency, Hon. Martin Ikechukwu Apugo as the best candidate for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency seat.

During a visit by the Martin Ikechukwu Apugo campaign team to Umuonma women age grade of Amuzukwu on the occasion of their cultural rite (Ekpoputa nwa) recently, the women said the society need someone like Martin Ikechukwu Apugo who make sacrifice for the betterment of others in position of authority, and prayed God to bring his aspiration to fulfillment.

They thanked him for his commitment to better human lives, and also honouring their invitation.

In his response, Hon. Apugo described women as the pillar in the society and appreciated the Umuonma women age of Amuzukwu for their relentless effort in their community development.

Also in a related event, Hon. Martin Ikechukwu Apugo met with elders and stakeholders of Umuekwule Umuokpara in Umuahia South in continuation of his campaign consultations tour where he pointed out the present situation of Abia State saying that the state under the leadership of People Democratic Party PDP for sixteen years have kept Abia in a sorry situation, adding that the only way to rescue Abia State from the present condition is to vote for APC.

He said Abia in Sixteen years remain the most backward state in South East, adding that poor infrastructural development, none payment of salary especially the one owned to staff of Abia Health workers, Abia Polyphonic, Abia teaching hospital, Abia State University are just few mentioned  suffering of Abians from poor governance.

Hon. Apugo solicited for their support in the forthcoming election, saying if voted member Representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal constituency at the Federal House of representative, Umuokara will experience qualitative and good representation. And he also promised to assist them in completion of their civic centre.

Chief Humphrey Enyiobu and Chief Uwaeze Emezue who spoke on behalf of other elders and stakeholders told Martin Ikechukwu Apugo that they have already made up their mind to support and vote for him, adding that they have known him as good man, and have no doubt that he will deliver if given the opportunity.
