REP. SAM ONUIGBO SPEAKS AS HE COMPLETED BLOCK OF TWO CLASSROOM WITH OFFICE AND STORE AT GSS AFUGIRI, UMUAHIA NORTH

“I am happy to announce today, the completion of a block of two classrooms with office and store, at Adanma Girls Secondary School, Afugiri, Umuahia North."

“When I visited the school unofficially last year, I was appalled by the state of some of the classroom blocks. We quickly swung into action and were able to get it approved for execution. I must thank the contractors for doing a prompt job. In the coming days, it will be handed over to the school for use.

“I am aware that we have issues of dilapidated classrooms all over our constituency. In fact last year, I sent some of my aides to inspect the problems we have at Nsirimo. I am fully aware of all of these problems and will continue to work hard to make sure that they are tackled.

“While I am not asking that drums should be rolled out in praise of the ones I have done, I am however asking that we exercise patience while our developmental train gets to all of our people.

“In all sincerity, my commitment is to serve. I know that I may be criticized for not being the extravagant politician who doles our money to people wherever he goes to, but what we should consider is this; “should we use the money for the development our people to share, and remain backward?” I do not see that as the best thing to do.

“My commitment to the good people of great Ikwuano/Umuahia North/South federal constituency is that I will continue to work hard and put our general interest first. But I can only succeed if we all work together(as I have often said, leadership is a collective responsibility).

“May God continue to guide and bless us all.”
