A beautician and ex corpper who served in the state, Miss Faith Akanimoh has taken advantage of lack of white collar jobs to prove that, entrepreneurship is the way out of joblessness for youths in the country.

Through her craft, she has empowered not less than 150 youths in Makeup Artistry, Face Perfection, Beauty Techniques and tying Gela.

Her office Demy’s Beauty Touch, located along Akwakuma close to BGR filling station, collaborates with Youth Empowerment Nigeria, YEN, a national body acclaimed to be a platform that has trained Nigerian youths in various entrepreneurial ventures at subsidized rate.

Speaking with Akanimoh in her office recently, she gaily informed that, that the reason she towed the line was mainly filled by the need to put food on her table, out of fear of no job after her National Youth Service Corp, NYSC.

The Computer Scientist graduate from Ekiti state University said, following her passion to beautify women, she discovered that, it paid off so well compared to those in office jobs, adding that, though she had not received any sort of financial assistance from donor bodies or the government, she is still hopeful that her proposal to the state government to train interested youths, will be acknowledged.

She frowned at idle youths who resort to crime and criminality while apportioning blame to the government as reason for their restiveness.

Advising women to shun the habit of meeting up standard they do not have nor can afford, Miss Akanimoh, urged them to remain focused, patient and contented on their path to success.
